Reserving a hive holds your place in the first production run. Those hives are delivered in February 2027, which puts one in your yard before the season opens and gives a colony time to settle before the first real flow.
We would rather build this carefully than quickly. Every hive in that first run is made to the specification we tested across a full season, not a shortened version of it.

What happens after I pre-order?
We'll follow up directly with configuration options, delivery timing, and a short guide to what's worth having ready before your hive arrives. Nothing else is needed from you in the meantime.
Do I need to choose a configuration now?
No. Reserving holds your place. Whether you add the Sensor Kit and App, or Wingspan Pro for multiple hives, can be settled closer to delivery. Compare Models lays out what's different.
