Our Mission

A hive is a piece of infrastructure a beekeeper interacts with every week, for years. It deserves the same rigor applied to it that goes into any well-made tool: built from materials that last, engineered around how the human body actually moves, and refined by watching real inspections rather than guessing at them.

Most people who want to keep bees don't, because the barrier to entry looks steeper than it is. The Bee Care library, the Hive Mind community, and the guidance built into the app all exist to close that gap, for someone on their first colony and someone on their fifteenth.

Data doesn't replace the craft of beekeeping. It removes the guesswork around when that craft needs to be applied, so a beekeeper's limited time and attention go toward the hives that actually need them.
